Roald Dahl nurses offer specialist nursing care and emotional support to young patients and their families affected by acquired brain injury, epilepsy or serious blood conditions.
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is proud of its strong record in funding crucial nursing posts in the areas of epilepsy, acquired brain injury, and haematology throughout the UK.
The charity continues to support Roald Dahl nurses throughout their careers via an annual training grant and opportunities to meet one another and share experience and skills.
In addition, our new partnership with the Burdett Trust for Nursing will offer paediatric specialist nurses the opportunity to conduct their own studies and projects to develop protocols and best practice. See our Nurse-Led Project Funding section for further details.
If you are interested in discussing how the Charity might support a new specialist nurse post within your hospital or charity, please contact the Director of the Charity on: 01494 890 465
